Super Summer White-the SM/R

Brash Higgins’ 2013 SM/R Semillon-Riesling got a nice write up by Mike Bennie on the Wine Front recently. “Tangy, clean and crisp to taste, fine and frisky, crunchy and with vitality and freshness in tow. Length is better in 2013 than 2012, similar flavour profile but finishes with tang and fine fruitiness. Little lilt of creaminess and nutty complexity in tow. This is really nice to drink, and complex for its personality. Touch more complexity, touch more length than 2012. Go go go.
A whopping 49 cases produced from a vineyard in Kangarilla. It’s hand-picked, co-fermented and sent to two old use barrels for time in penance. Brash Higgins could be the alter ego or super hero name of Brad Hickey, his former life as ultra sommelier in the US of A, now working with the inlaws’ beloved vineyards. Great story.” Thanks, Mike.
