Brash Higgins 2016 ‘CBSV’ Cabernet Sauvignon

The fruit for the 2016 CBSV was hand selected at the BH estate Omensetter Vineyard. We love the aromatics of this wine and the delicious fruit, the 2016 vintage yielded excellent, full flavoured and balanced crop, producing a very limited parcel of 190 cases

‘Perfumed nose; floral, sweet mint, blueberries and cassis, with spicy notes of crushed caraway seeds, Earl Grey tea, and Dutch liquorice. On the palate the wine is smooth and rich with the sweet earthiness of roasted root vegetables, the acidity of rhubarb and the dark lusciousness of black currants. The wine is layered, finishing dry with typical Cabernet tannin.’ – Brad Hickey, Vinitor, November 2017.
