Brash Higgins 2022 ‘Lot X’ Chenin Blanc Amphora
Winery direct purchase only and at Solotel outlets. Made from Chenin Blanc fermented and aged in 200L clay vessels, this is our first amphora chenin. This was a collab with somm Ted Rutledge from Aria in Sydney.
‘A hazy copper in appearance. The wine is dry yet exudes wild mandarin , hibiscus-tea, and ginger aromatics. Fresh notes of cut ginger, dried apricot and honey flow onto the palate; bright acidity and a savoury, powdery finish pulls the wine together on the close.’ – Brad Hickey, Vinitor, January 10, 2023.
