Brash Higgins 2024 ‘GRN’ Grenache-Blewitt Springs

80D_BRAGRNGREN24AAU750FR

A parcel of Grenache from a sustainably farmed site in the distinctive sandy soils of Blewitt Springs along the upper ridges of the eastern flank of McLaren Vale. The fruit was hand-picked on the same day, half whole cluster and half destemmed at the winery and fermented wild. The 2024 vintage was a warm one, but low yielding, and overall excellent quality. 18 months in trusty French puncheons further forged the fine red berry tones and savoury spice, allowing the wine to flesh out a bit, as well. .
